THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support our people operations and help build a workplace where employees can do their best work. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, answering day-to-day HR questions and resolving issues with care and discretion
•    Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned roles, from job posting through offer
•    Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and leave programs (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
•    Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
•    Support performance management processes including goal-setting, reviews, and corrective action
•    Assist with onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle
•    Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as policy updates, training programs, and engagement surveys
•    Build and maintain relationships with local and state government agencies, community colleges, and vocational schools to develop a strong talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
•    3+ years of HR generalist experience
•    Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’re approachable, discreet, and solutions-focused
•    Experience with an HRIS platform (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday)
•    PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not required
•    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
